Alterations Made Along the Way

Editing: During the production stages of my music video I choose to exclude mu initial plans of using a split screen due to the lack of narrative that was present within my project. However choosing to retain the colour grading aspect of my post-production planning meant that the video was still able to maintain a sense of professionalism but losing some of the conventional features that I had planned during my research.

Digi-Pak: During the initial stages of my digi-pak creation I made several changes with the layout moving around logos and excluding the use of a CD holder design due to a new discovery of 3 fold design that allows the cd to slide into a gap. This is also a far more modern and common place feature now within the production of CD's and Records.

 Advert: My initial plan was to create a logo to represent the band across the advert as well however upon difficulty creating the logo to the effect that I wanted and also looking at some other bands, such as The Vaccines, I choose to include and image of the band instead and make it more like a gig style poster than previously planned and put emphasis on the general promotional band poster design. I also choose to add quotes from appropriate magazine sources such as NME and Q.
